Chris was one of the most extraordinary humans I've ever had the gift of loving. His deeply gifted, beautiful family, could not have loved him better. He was like a brother to me when he and my brother became best friends at sailing camp because Chris played bass and Carter played drums and they both liked led zeppelin. So I was 8 when he was always around with his beautiful soul, deeply heartfelt smile, generous goofiness, musical brilliance, all the things that truly make one's heart leap high.
