MECKLER, Lillian N. of Glen Head, NY on January 14th, 2021 age 89. Wife of the late Lawrence. Mother of Harold (Helene) and David (Linda). Sister of Muriel Stern and Sandra Howard. Grandmother of Emily Hayes (Ben), Jessica (Abhishek Kishore), Hannah Calceglia (Michael), Stephen and Lauren. Great grandmother of Sloane and Lex Hayes. Educator at North Shore School Systems for many years, after retirement she was a travel agent for 20 years. Active member of Congregation Tifereth Israel since 1956, also past President and served on the board position. Lillian was also past treasurer of the North Shore Retired Teachers Union. Service and interment at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
