Lori. I wasn't sure if I should send this. but I hope it puts a smile on your face, and in your heart, always. Even though I only met you and Steve a few times, each time you both touched my heart forever. It was so lovely to see the love that the two of you shared, also the love Robert had for Steve was so touching, how he took care of Steve was unbelievable. Lori I'm not she you know this, every time I saw you and Steve, I ended up in tears, like a baby tears, seeing the love you had for each other, Steve never took his eyes off of you. You and Steve showed me TRUE LOVE, EXISTS. Lori your heart will heal from the pain of losing Steve in this terrible time, but he is in your heart forever, and You will heal. I am sending You your family, and Robert all my love!

I will miss you so much Steven the great laughs we had together here in Liverpool and New York such a great time the 4 of us ,and the fishing trip. We went on and didint happen but still had great time . Nil santas optimum come on you blues.R.I.P

I did not meet Steven until I met his wife, Lori, at the ADRC support group. Her dedication to finding out as much as she could about Steven’s condition, and her relentless participation in proactive steps for the betterment of treatment through the education of caregivers and healthcare workers, both inside and outside of facilities and hospitals, is an Inspiration to be both admired and supported now and in the future. By the time I had the pleasure of being introduced to Steven, the ravages of the disease had considerably affected his physical appearance and abilities. But his beautiful spirit and heart still shone through. He lit up so whenever he looked at Lori, and he thrived on their mutual love and connection. All who met him felt his innate strength and were drawn to his magnetic personality. Yes, the loss to his family and those who loved him Is enormous, but his legacy is that anyone who met him is better for it, and his journey will continue to be shared and will help so many others. Right now I wish peace and comfort to Lori and family, and the belief that Steven will be looking over them and hugging them and protecting them forever.
