So sad about Nicky. Michael and Jane, words are inadequate for the sorrow you and your family are going through, and can't express any magic comfort, so we offer our love and our prayers. I lit a candle in church today. After I said a prayer for Nicky and then one for all of you, I looked up and to the left of the candle display was a framed painting of Christ. Underneath it said "JESUS I TRUST IN THEE." Perhaps this is a message to all of us.

Nineteen years wasn't nearly long enough to demonstrate how much love we felt for Nicky or to watch him grow from a sweet, beautiful boy into the man we knew he would become. Perhaps this world was not the place for such a caring, talented soul. I'll have to listen carefully for the soft sounds of his violin. Following the music he makes in Heaven until I see those bright eyes and brilliant smile once again.

Although we didn't know Nick personally, we do know many members of the Martone family including DJ & Jimmy, who were Noah's counselors at camp. What a devastating loss for such a beautiful, strong family. We have no words but can only offer you our most sincere and heartfelt prayers at this time. God bless you all. Rest in peace Nick.
