Jamie, it seems like only yesterday that we first met. 30 plus years have gone by in a blink, but memories of you are hi-lights of so many of our happiest moments. So many shared dinners, birthdays, trips to CT antiquing, watching Max & Jess growing up, planting our gardens and building our homes. Life's journeys sometimes took us in different directions, but no matter where you called home, you were always in our hearts. Your generosity and kindness, as in all of your friends lives, was a blessing to us.
Now, it's becoming a reality that we will never again see your face at our door. We will always cherish the memory of Christmas mornings, still in our PJ's, sharing the season's joy in front of your open fireplace. You made us part of your family as we made you part of ours. We loved having you in our lives, if only for a while. We will always be "forever neighbors". Candle in the window.
Peace Dear Friend,
Ken & Carol

Jamie was my cool cousin who made everything fun: Kidnapping me in her VW beetle for sunrise on the beach—with doughnuts! Teaching me how to play guitar (I was terrible!). Turning dreaded chores into raucous games that had my brother and I begging for more. She was a fun loving cousin and later a very proud mom. She brought joy to me and many others and is hugely missed..

I remember when Jas came to visit in Arizona we had a ton of fun memories she would take us to Starbucks to get a cake pop, we would watch heartland or Korean tv shows, and we would listen to “This is the stuff” by Francesca Battistelli. Me and my siblings started to like Pokémon cards and she would take us on target trips to get Pokémon cards. One time we had to go to fry’s for groceries and we met this really nice lady and Jas being the wonderful person she is was so kind to her and when we left she tried to have us go back later and she called the random fry’s lady our aunt. I love her so much and she was an amazing grandma.

Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Jamie?
A: Jas always fought for the underdog. I remember her apprehending a mugger while 7 months pregnant in the subway of New York. Jas was fierce about making sure people, especially the elderly, got the best medical treatment. She reinvented herself despite enormous loss and heartache.
To anyone reading this, do not let time, distance or strife cause you the opportunity to tell a sibling or dear friend how much they mean to you.
