Obituary of Carmen Katsikas

KATSIKAS, Carmen of Glen Cove, NY September 15, 2024 at Age 95.  Beloved wife of the late William "Bill".  Loving mother of Robert (Diane), Ellen Maruca (Joseph), Lorraine Martinez (Anthony) and the late Constantine "Tino" (Linda Zavaro).  Dear sister of Maruja Quintero and the late Lucrecia Caballero.  Cherished grandmother of Jessica (Justin), Nicole (Gregory), Alexis (Costa), Joseph (Katie), Madison (Michael), Derek (Annie) and Tino.  Adored great-grandmother of Zoe, Olive, Sylvia, Willa, Vivian, June, Paloma, Pia and another great-granddaughter on the way.  Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.  Also survived by her beloved cat Yanni.  Carmen was an active member of the Glen Cove Senior Center.  She was an avid swimmer until age 90 at the Glen Cove YMCA.

Visitation at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home, Glen Cove on Thursday from 4-8pm.  Mass at St. Boniface RC Church on Friday at 10:00am.  Interment to follow at Locust Valley Cemetery.
