Obituary of Bertha J. Adamcewicz

ADAMCEWICZ, Bertha J. of Glen Cove, NY on August 24, 2024 at Age 97.  Beloved wife of the late Al.  Loving mother of Linda (Peter), Thomas (Cathy), Debby (John) and the late Alex, Jr. (Donna).  Dear sister of Edward (Helen), the late Mae (the late Ed), the late Jean (the late George), the late Tess (the late Zdzislaw) and the late Ben.  Cherished grandmother of 8.  Adored great-grandmother of 6.  Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.  Bertha was a long time member of the Glen Cove Senior Center for 23 years, where she also served as Vice President of the club. She also played a pivotal role in helping to establish a library at the club, Bertha loved to garden, was an avid reader and liked to do crossword puzzles.  Visitation at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home of Glen Cove on Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 4-7pm.  Prayer Service at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 10am.  Interment to follow at Locust Valley Cemetery.
