Q: What was Johnnie really good at?
A: My heart aches because he was known as Brother Johnnie at our church in Glen Cove. Aka 60 because of the church address 60 Cottage Row.
Brother Johnson enjoyed singing in the choir. And was one of the drummers for the church. He always had a cheerful smile and loved the Lord.
I have known both Brother Johnnie and his family all of my life. His son and daughter all grew up together in the same church. I will surely miss him he was a bright light to our church and a faithful member for many years.
Sleep well Brother Johnnie you will never be forgotten. My prayers to Auntie Patricia, his children Deirdre, and Edward whom we affectionately call of strength. His sister Mary Norfleet and a host of other relatives.
