Those who had the opportunity to know Patricia were truly fortunate. Pat, as she preferred being addressed, an extraordinary woman who possessed compassion, kindness, a willing to help anyone in need whether medical or personal. I am deeply saddened to just now receive this dreadful news. I often spoke to the aids reminding them to inform the family letting me know of any changes in her condition. We didn't immediately start off as friends. I managed a PT office Pat often visited, mainly to "pick my brain". At first it annoyed me, she was paying someone to handles her office yet I was supplying all the info. As Pat would say, her person didn't have my smarts and know how to go about things. Somehow we developed an amazing friendship. I've known many woman in my life none were a "real friend." We were together everyday, her house or mine, always talking on the phone. I would care for her cats when she traveled. We often went out to lunch or dinner, concerts. Our birthdays were one month apart, we had an agreement on hers she would choose the restaurant of her choice and vice versa. When Pat informed me of her horrible medical condition I often called the aids. I should have been permitted to pay my respects to the family and to honor this amazing woman. She will be missed and thought of all the time.

My deepest sympathies for all of us who loved Pat . I met Pat many years ago and we became friends, as a cna , I always brought PT Pat to all my patients, there was no one else who could and would help the most difficult of patients. I have missed my friend since this awful disease altered her life , she was always there , I will miss her, till we meet again dear friend, rest peacefully in the arms of the angels ❤️

PT Pat and I met in February 2000, after I had a car accident. She treated me at my home for about 3 months. We hit it off and became friends. She invited me to Tenerife with her friends that had a time share there. That was the beginning of many trips together. She took me on a cruise for my 50th with her friends from her work with children and horses. I took her to my timeshare in Aruba a couple times. She also was responsible for me becoming a cat lady like her! I am so sorry she got this terrible disease and was taken from us way before her time. She was a fun-loving lady and I will miss her.
