I am so very sorry to hear that Anne has passed. My condolences to her family. My parents met Anne at the office where she and my father were getting weekly treatments. They became fast friends and my mother would tell me Anne stories each week. I met Anne one of the times I took my dad for treatment. He fell asleep and I sat by Anne. I felt a connection to her immediately. We talked, she shared her fears about her illness with me, we cried together, we prayed together, we laughed. Her whole face lit up telling me about each of her children. It was clear that her family was the light of her life! I didn’t see Anne often but always asked my parents about her, I texted her occasionally to say hi. What impressed me so much was what a truly selfless soul she was. Regardless of her own situation, she always asked about me and my parents. She would pray for my dad to get well even though she needed the prayers. Her genuine warmth and love for others was remarkable. She had a beautiful spirit. I will always remember and appreciate her friendship, with love.
