William “Bill” Schult

SCHULT, Bill of Crossville, TN, formerly of Glen Cove, NY, on September 18, 2023, at age 75.  Beloved husband of Janet Knipfing-Schult, dear father of Wendy Carol Schult, fond brother of Nancy Schult Driver (Elmer), and esteemed former husband of Carol Hessen Jaworski.  Bill was born in Brooklyn and lived most of his life in Glen Cove, before relocating to Fairfield Glade (Crossville) TN in December 2021.  Bill was a CPA and spent most of his career as auditor, controller, chief financial officer, and president of several banking institutions.

Visitation at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home, Glen Cove, on Friday, October 6, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.  A Service in Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Glen Cove on Saturday, October 7, at 11:00 am, with committal at St. Paul’s Cemetery and a reception to follow.
