We worked at Mohlenhoffs Greenhouses together. I moved to South Carolina, we would occasionally chat and write. She was a great friend and shared many laughs when we worked together. He had so much knowledge and was genuine. Rest in peace my dear friend and the heavens are lucky to have an amazing gardener!

I was and still in total shock. We had just finished laughing and chatting the night before as we exchanged ideas on my plantings as Nanette lived across the street from us. We shared a passion about plants and flowers. The following morning I was anxious to show Nanette that I had pinched my mums in the front but her car was still in the driveway past 730 am n just felt an uneasy feeling. She loved her job and was always on time. By 10 am the car had not moved. Thought to myself “ she must be really tired” as she did some gardening the night before at home. I’m glad I got to see her smile and chuckle one last time. She absolutely loved her sister Maddy as they lived together. Her niece Maggie was charm to her aunt..Nanette loved spending time with my cat. And it’s evident that my cat loved her as she keeps crossing the street to look for Nanette. I will miss the occasional wave or quick chat as she pulled in the driveway.. Nanette … rest in peace !!

Nanette always put a smile on my face. What I adored most is that she loved her family, friends, craft and had huge compassion for all the animals that came into her life, wether hers or those of friends. Although she and I grew up and lived blocks away from each other, I only came to begin a friendship when we met through working in the horticulture field and we quickly became friends I wish I would have known Nanette a lot sooner, I thank Reese for introducing me to her. I will cherish the friendship and memories forever.

I will miss sharing time with Nanette. Whether swimming, boating, enjoying Mother Nature’s wonders or just talking . She taught me so much about flowers, plants, life and myself. She loved life and brought sunshine to many many people including me, staff and individuals. I will keep her memory alive in my heart forever. Elizabeth

I was the recipient of Nanette's work many times. Her plants, baskets and floral arrangements were beautiful. She truly loved what she did and it showed. AHRC was lucky to have such a talented and dedicated employee. She will be missed.
