RIZZO, Joseph J. of Glen Cove, NY on November 28th, 2022 at age 92. Retired Detective of Nassau County Police Dept. Beloved father of Philip Wayne (Rosa), Debbie Galante (Vinny), Cheryl Heffernan (Patrick), Glenn (Marion), Karen Gaudio (Louie) and the late Joseph. Loving brother of Carol Monahan. Proud grandfather of 14 and special great-grandfather of 11. Visiting at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home of Glen Cove on Friday from 2:30-4:30 and 7-9pm. Mass at the Church of St. Rocco on Saturday at 10am. Interment East Hillside Cemetery.
