Obituary of Jerry Davis Flower, Sr.

FLOWER, Jerry D. Sr. of Bayville, NY on September 6th, 2022 at age 90. Born in Locust Valley, NY on March 2, 1932, to Nelson and Florence Flower. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Marge Flower and his brother, Nelson Sterling Flower. He is survived by his sons, Jerry Jr. (Joanne), William (Kim) and Alan (Kristie), seven grandchildren and five great-granddaughters.
Jerry was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Glen Cove and served as an active member of the Bayville Fire Company for 55 years. He had a 42 year career with the Long Island Lighting Company as an emergency service lineman. He was a member of the IBEW for 70 years.
Visiting at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home of Glen Cove on Saturday from 7-9pm; Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Service at the Trinity Lutheran Church: 74 Forest Ave. Glen Cove on Monday at 10am. Interment to follow at Locust Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or the Bayville Fire Company
