Obituary of Frank R. Berritto

BERRITTO, Frank R. “Bert” - A loving father and doting grandfather, died on Monday, April 4, 2022 at his home in Lattingtown, NY at age 82.  Mr. Berritto was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1939 to parents Giuseppe and Anna Berritto. He dedicated his life to helping others, a life of service. He met his beloved wife Georgiann Faro (deceased) while working at the American Book Company in March 1962 and married in February 1965. He raised his three children, Frank, Audra and Arianne in Sun Valley, CA for 20 years. In his later years, he lived his life surrounded by his seven grandchildren, Gabriella, Katherine Georgia, Nicole, Gianna Georgiann, Anthony, and Mia Dolly.
Mr. Berritto died surrounded by his loving family after a difficult battle with cancer. He is reunited with the love of his life, Georgia and all those who went before him.

Visiting will be held on Sunday, April 10^th from 3-9pm at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home: 26 Franklin Ave. Glen Cove, NY 11542.  Funeral Mass at St. Gertrude RC Church: 28 School Street in Bayville, NY 11709 on Monday, April 11^th at 10am. Interment to follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery: 7202 Astoria Blvd. East Elmhurst, NY 11370.
