02/19/2024 To Whom It May Concern: We are very sorry to have learned of the death of Steven Cobb Rogers. My lifetime partner Joseph Anthony Limoli, II knew Steve through their separate work and also separate personal affiliation and treatment in the mental health system. Steve worked and lived for some time with Melillo. I only met Steve twice for dinner in the company of Joseph and another friend once but I recall him to have been affable although somewhat guarded as we all were. He was also quite bright. In fact Steve was a difficult person to get to know among those who sought to cultivate his friendship or be included in his orbit. Fortunately, I observed that Steve's family particularly his father provided a great amount of protection, love and support to Steve. I was also told that Steve's father had been an Olympic athlete and I know that they had had an extremely close relationship whom I believe Steve modeled himself after. I was not aware that Steve had two sisters. We are very sorry for the loss.
