The class of '62 of Port Schreiber High School is having its 60th reunion in September. Many of us just learned of Christie's passing as we were contacting classmates urging them to attend. We are in shock that we have lost one of the kindest and most beautiful in body and spirit members of our class. Christie was probably the most popular girl in our class and rightfully so. Oh how we will miss Christie B. when we get together next month. So sorry for your loss...and ours. Diane Shields Ketcham

The most amazing part of Christie Bayles Callahan’s beauty was loving, giving, kind and generous heart for all people in all walks of life. I as her son am so grateful to God to have her as my mother. She set an example and foundation of goodness that transformed me and my sisters through some of life’s greatest challenges. I will cherish her 77 years of outstanding service to others and to how she loved me as her special little man. Love you mom always and forever.

Christie was a beloved member of the Trinity College (now Trinity Washington University) Green Class of ‘66. She was our awesome song leader for all 4 years of college, and a member of Trinity’s a cappella singing group, The Trinity Belles. So many wonderful memories…

Memory: Your mom and I were in Florida visiting my parents, and she didn't want to go back to the hotel alone. I went & stayed overnight with her and we were up really late talking about old times and laughing a lot. Didn't get a lot of sleep, but we had so much fun!!! Also, I love this picture of the 3 siblings together❤️
