Obituary of Eugene Colleary

Eugene Colleary, August 11, 1933- November 29, 2021.

Beloved husband of the late Marybeth (née Obergfoll).  Loving son of the late Eugene and Anna Colleary. Devoted father of Mary Elizabeth Poje (Craig Wills), Timothy Colleary (late Gail Schaffer), Patrick Colleary (Teresa) and Susan Colleary (Jay Connett). Dear brother of the late Marty and John.  Proud Grandfather of Cole Poje, Kat Grace Poje and Melissa Colleary (Billy Rom). Proud US Army Veteran who served in Korea until 1958. Eugene was a Master mechanic, he was the owner with his brother of Colleary Brothers Flushing, NY gas station, then mechanic at Fort Hamilton Army Base and retired from Locust Valley School District as Bus Mechanic.  
Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, December 2nd at St. Patrick RC Church at 12:30pm, interment to follow at Locust Valley Cemetery.
