I had the honor of knowing both Danielle & Gina, as a staff member for the GAP adults 21+ Program for almost 4 years now. Danielle ALWAYS ran towards me with a smile, saying: "Hi Jenny" & grabbing onto my wheelchair. She always asked me how I was doing, while admiring my clothes / sneakers. Her lively spirit, laughter & bright smile will live in my mind / heart forever. Tuesday nights at GAP program won't be the same with her. May she be resting in peace, while watching over / smiling down on all of those who loved & cared about her.

Danielle lived to be happy… she always laughed and had a big smile. A very inquiring young woman who loved all kinds of food and I loved to cook for her on Xmas Eve… she always devoured the baked clams .. she loved to open gifts, and I enjoyed her joy and wonderment as she opened them, and was always so appreciative and thankful. She had a beautiful style about her, and was always beautifully dressed…and so happy to greet us at her home we we visited and so excited to be around family and friends… she was one of a kind, and I will miss her liveliness her veracity for food and fun and her sweet, soft loving soul… god has her now, and we have her as our angel….

Most of all, she understood the overwhelming love of God. Such and abstract concept, but simple as it reflected in her smile. Danielle loved everybody and was the sweetest soul. I remember sleepovers, her saying “I love you” to me over and over, lots of hugs and squeezes, and her playful spirit where she would do something mischevious and pretend like she didn’t know that she did something “wrong”. Danielle you were the sweetest most energetic and funny lady around and your laugh will be in my head forever. I’ve known you since you were a teenager at Herricks and as you grew up you visited me at Trader Joe’s and came to make me smile when I was pregnant with my son Kody and then to visit him when he was born.
