Obituary of Philip A. Baker

BAKER, Philip A. of  Bayville, NY on April 2, 2021 age 50. Beloved son of Christine and the late Philip W.  Loving brother of Amy O'Wade (Don). Dear uncle of Izabella and Savanna. Also survived by loving aunts, uncles, cousins and devoted friends. Philip was born with a rare condition called Lesch-Nyhan Syndrome, which confined him to a wheelchair his entire life. He was an associate member of the Bayville Fire Department. His laugh and smile were contagious and he lived life to the fullest amongst all the medical issues he faced. He was an inspiration to all who knew him and he will never be forgotten.

Visitation at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home of Glen Cove on Tuesday from 4-8pm. Mass at St. Gertrude RC Church on Wednesday at 10am. Interment Locust Valley Cemetery.
