I know it's been a while since the passing of Mrs. Von Bothmer but I would like to extend my condolences to the the family. I was her family photographer for a number of years. Every year she would call and set up a date to photograph the family when they would come to visit at her home in Oyster Bay. She would use the photographs to send in her holiday greetings. It was always a pleasure to see everyone. I have to admit she was a challenging women with strong beliefs on where and how the photographs should be taken. So I would accomodate her wishes and then ask if I could take a few more which I felt were more photographically correct. Of course she would say.
