I was so sorry to learn of Sue's passing. She was an integral part of the Locust Valley Garden Club. When I was President, Sue made beautiful centerpieces for the club's 65th Anniversary. I still have the glass container and replaced the flowers which will always remind me of her. I moved to CT a year ago, so I haven't seen her recently, but I will always remember her smile and enthusiasm.

Our Friendship began as little girls in Sunday School and held strong throughout our lives. Even though Sue began her married life and family in New York and I remained back here in a small Western PA town to start mine, the many miles between us did not separate our friendship. We always kept one another close at heart. I will continue to do so. My deepest condolences to all of her family. We were all very fortunate to have had her within our lives. She will be missed more than words can adequately express., but I will always remember that bubbly personality and laugh. May her memory be eternal. Forever Friend, Glenda

I loved babysitting for “Billie” and “Lynne”. Skiing at Mt. Ascutney, going to the beach at Amagansett. She and Bill were very generous to me and I will always remember the good times they allowed me to share.

I met Sue when I first joined the garden club many years ago and she was such a help to a 'wanna be' gardener. She was considerate, knowledgeable and generous of spirit and I always think of her as a lady who was as lovely as the flowers she grew. My heartfelt sympathy to her family, Jacqueline Bartley
