When Barbara and I were 13 years old her brother Stan, already an adult, took us to dinner and then to a taping of the Pat Boone show. Holding doors and chairs for us, he treated us like ladies. That evening, so long ago, my friend's older brother was a wonderful example of a gentleman for two young girls.
