Tonight I offer heartfelt prayers for Victor. I was hoping it was not him when I heard the news but then I saw his beautiful face. What a tragedy. May he rest in sweet peace. I went on a few dates with Victor back in the 80's. He was such a sweet guy. I remember we went on a lovely picnic one afternoon, I think it was at a Guggenheim Estate. It was so nice. I also remember him wanting to put a spoiler on the back of my 78 Camaro because he said it should have one! I did not want it because then it would look like a guys car...and we laughed. I also remember he insisted I park by his house for the feast so my car would be safe. He was a wonderful person. I think we can say we were very fortunate to have known Victor. I will remember him fondly. My sincere condolences to his family.

Vittorio always had a gentle smile and easy way that welcomed those he saw as he causally smoked his favorite cigar. My mother's 102 birthday was staged at Vittorio's. He was a gentleman, made all her favorites and treated her with great respect. This is the Vittorio I will always remember.
