Obituary of Louise A. Peluso

Louise Martone Peluso, of Bayville, NY, age 98, known to almost everyone as “Aunt Louise,” passed away on January 20 after a long illness. She loved her family and friends, her spectacular daylily garden, the opera, and her beloved NY Mets. She was the matriarch of the Martone family and a mainstay at L. Martone & Sons commercial roofing company. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Mario "Rudy" Peluso, her sister Catherine, and brothers Nicholas, Percy, Philip, Lorenzo, Andrew and John. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, their families and her caregiver Lalita, who all loved her deeply and will miss her terribly.

Visitation at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home of Glen Cove on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Mass at St. Boniface Martyr Church of Sea Cliff on Saturday at 9am. Interment at Locust Valley Cemetery.
