FRANCIPANE, Alfred M. of Glen Cove NY, formerly of Whitestone, NY on January 14th, 2017, Age 72. Beloved husband of Kim Van Voorhis. Loving father of Charles, Linda and Stanley Kazala(Kristine). Cherished grandfather of Kyle and Cassidy Kazala. He was a US Navy Veteran who served aboard the aircraft carrier USS Lexington during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Al also was a 25 year employee of Eastern Airlines at the height of airline glory. He and his wife Kim took advantage of their airline benefits by traveling the world! He was a third degree Knight of Columbus, a member of the Catholic War Veterans and the Locust Valley American Legion Post 962. Al was a great hunter and loved to read. He also was a long-time suffering Mets and Jets fan. Visitation held at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home Tueday 2-5 & 7-9pm. Funeral Mass held at St. Patricks RC Church, Glen Cove Wednesday 10am.
