McDermott, John E. formerly of Glen Cove, NY on October 29th, 2012 age 81. Beloved husband of Jacqueline. Loving father of Suzanne, Margaret, John, Peter and the late Matthew. Dear brother of Maureen Rhode and the late Cecil Beyt. Proud grandfather of Liam, Kara, Kelly and Matthew. Visitation at the Funeral Home of Dodge-Thomas Glen Cove Wednesday 3-5 & 7-9pm. Mass at the Church of St. Patrick Thursday 9am. Interment Calverton National Cemetery.
