Mary Jane Gigantelli of Glen Cove, LI on June 21, 2011 age 84. Beloved wife of the late Louis. Loving mother of Cindy Ritchie (the late John), Michael Forgione (Debbie Shelor) and Susan Brooks. Dear sister of Carmen, Joseph, Rocco Douso, Nellie La Joy, the late Michael, Dominick, Frank, Anthony "Sonny" Douso, Frances Palmirotto, Angelina Colangelo, Jennie Falcone and Rose Petro. Proud grandmother of Brad (Carlyle), Jill (Eric), Chris, Dan (Danielle), Stephen, Laura (Daniel), Michael John, Lisa and the late Jonathan (Lisa). Cherished great-grandmother of Kaitlyn, Courtney and Brittany. She worked as a secretary for the Glen Cove Schools for 35 years. She was an active parishioner of St. Rocco, Member of St. Rocco Rosary Society, Eucharistic Minister, Volunteer at St. Rocco's Feast, member of the Woman's Club of Glen Cove and volunteer at the North Shore INN Soup Kitchen. Visiting at the Funeral Home of Dodge-Thomas, Glen Cove Friday 3-5 & 7-9pm. Mass at the Church of St. Rocco Saturday 10am. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.
