Obituary of Eunice Winslow

Mrs. Eunice Johnson Winslow of Locust Valley, NY on February 2, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Scudder. Loving mother of Rolla Bruce Campbell, Eunice Graham Strigaro and the late Alsion Fraser Swain and the late Cynthia Coit Waters. Dear sister of Priscilla Johnson McMillan and the late Stuart Holmes Johnson Jr. and the late Frank Coit Johnson II. Proud grandmother of April, Brooke, Caroline, Elisabeth, Allison, Stephen, Madeline, Randall, William and Timothy. Great-grandmother of 5. Mrs. Winslow was a trustee on the board of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and member of the North Country Garden Club of Long Island. Eunice was the granddaughter of F. Coit Johnson and Florence Dickinson Johnson, who moved to Mill Neck from New York City in 1895. She is the daughter of Stuart and Eunice Johnson, who lived there in Mill Neck till Stuart's death in 1969. Eunice's death marks the end of three generations of the Johnson family in the Locust Valley/Mill Neck area. Her funeral service will be at St. John's of Lattingtown Tuesday, February 9th at 11am. Interment private.
