Carla Hubbard Weitzmann of Lattingtown on January 16, 2016 in her 81st year. Beloved wife of Robert for 59 years. Loving mother of Keith (Robin), Elizabeth Brand (Leigh), Amy Tansill (Donnie), Claudia Cook (the late Bob) and Bradford (Maia). Proud and loving grandmother of Rayana, Tasia, Gus, Lily, George, Caroline, Grant, Preston, Reed, Cailin, Shelby, Griffin, Bryce and Khloe. Dear sister of Alexandra Watkins and Judith Colwell (Charlie). Carla Weitzmann was committed to a life of giving and helping those less fortunate. Through her philosophy of generosity of spirit and compassion, she inspired her family and life work. Anyone who sang a song so sweet was passing by.
Visiting at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home of Glen Cove on Monday from 2-5pm. Service at Christ Church of Oyster Bay, Tuesday 11am. Interment Locust Valley Cemetery. Donations may be made to Christ Church: 61 E Main St, Oyster Bay, NY 11771.
