Ruth L. Schlau ~ of Glen Cove, NY on December 10, 2015 age 88. Beloved wife of the late Martin R. Loving mother of Andrew (Kim Canavan) and Audrey. Dear sister of Elliot Levy (Barbara). Proud grandmother of Kiril, Erika and Charles Schlau. Also survived by nephews and many cousins. Ruth was a member of Congregation Tifereth Israel for 59 years. She is a graduate of NYU School of Commerce in 1949. She was an auxiliary volunteer at Glen Cove Hospital Service at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home of Glen Cove officiated by Rabbi Irwin Huberman of Congregation Tifereth Israel. Interment Beth David Cemetery.
