Got a call from Bob Sugar last night, very sorry to hear the news about your dad. Some of the best memories I have from New York were with Al. I never hearing a bad word about him from anyone and I know that all of us at Post are better off for knowing and working with him. Pam and I are now living in Pittsburgh with our 3 kids. We will say a prayer for peace for your family. Alan and Pam Blizzard

Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of Al Venturino.
Al has always been held in high esteem by the Washington family and remembered with great love and affection.
As a young man at CW Post I was advised by Gary Wichard to simply do what Al Venturino says and you'll be OK.
Al's words of wisdom, encouragement and humor before during and after games/practices were a blessing.
It was (and is) my honor to have known him.
May The Lord bless him always and forever.
Warm Regards,
Marc Washington #18
