Eva F. Brant, on May 11, 2015 age 94, was a resident of Locust Valley, NY for 83 years. Beloved wife of the late Curtis. Loving mother of Robert (Barbara) and Sharon Steele (the late Joel). Proud grandmother of Curtis (Beth), Cara (Mark) and Shawn. Special great-grandmother of Anna and Katie. Eva was the Secretary for the Locust Valley School System for 32 years. She was a member of the Locust Valley Senior Center and the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion: Howard Van Wagner Post, the Historical Society of Locust Valley, Eva was a devoted Mets fan, an avid reader, liked to go bowling and enjoyed watching Family Feud. Visiting at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home, Glen Cove on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Service at the Reformed Church of Locust Valley on Friday at 10am. Interment Locust Valley Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Reformed Church of Locust Valley, 115 Ryefield Rd. Locust Valley, NY 11560.
