As a dear friend of your daughter Karen, I know that you were a wonderful man and an amazing father. I know you will be missed, but will continue to live on in the spirit of the beautiful family you raised. May you rest in peace.

Richie and I have been friends since we were in kindergarten. We graduated together from the same elementary school and high school, and our bond of friendship never wavered during our lives. We never had any reluctance to confide our most innermost thoughts to each other. Our many mutual lifelong friends were the result of his leadership and example. Although Richie was always loyal, a true educational professional, an ardent advocate for children, and a staunch defender of what he believed to be right, most notably I'll always remember him for his enduring love and devotion to his wife, daughters and family. Above all they were the center of his life, and were part of every conversation we had as adults. Rest in peace my Brother. Thank you for gracing my life with your presence.

I write this in loving memory of Richard, my dear friend of 50 years. In the early '60's, Richard was the leader and mentor of our gang of fresh-out-of-high-school guys known as the DBC (Diamond Barbell Club) in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. He was the one who kept us straight even though at times it was tough. I remember him for having paczki and milk when we drank beer. I remember his long corny jokes that we couldn't wait to end but were funny anyway and we always laughed. Most of all, I remember the loyalty he showed us even after all this time. Richard loved to say "God Bless the DBC". Well, God did. He gave us Richard. I will miss him.

To My Wonderful Brother: God took you away too soon, but you will always be in my thoughts and prayers and in my heart. Growing up you were my big brother Ricky and I will always remember you that way. Now that you are in Heaven with my son Bill, Mom, Dad, and our sister Bea, you will enjoy eternal happiness. I will love you and miss you always.
