I would like to thank everyone for all the wonderful comments about my amazing and unique husband of almost 47 beautiful years. He touched so many lives with his loving ways. I always knew since I was 16 when I met him that he was someone so special and that I would never meet anyone like him again. We will all take a piece of him with us always and remember how much he loved everyone.

I met Sal 30 years ago, and immediately his love of life, family and his sports teams was an inspiration to me. He always had a kind word, and knew exactly when and how to say it. He could see the positive side of almost anything. He was the best dancer I ever saw. But mainly, he was the kind of man you wanted to be.
My deepest condolences to Marlene, Laura, Dena and his extended family. Rest in peace, Sal.

Sal was simply one of a kind....not just for Wall Street, but for the world in general. He was generous and compassionate to a fault. He loved his girls madly....his Mets and Rangers passionately. I can honestly say that everyone who knew him feels a deep loss in his passing and we are better people for having had him in our lives. Rest in peace Sal.

It was a privilege to get to know the dad Dena so adores, and see their choice close relationship. We will always be grateful for the times we had together at Blackthorne and in Glen Cove. May you find peace in the many happy memories of togetherness, until you are together again. Our hearts and love are with you.

Marlene, Laura, and Dena - I know that no words can help ease the pain and loss that you are feeling right now. It's the little things, the small, everyday occurrences that you'll remember. The laughs, the stories, the smiles. And even though it seems like you can never recover from your loss, it is these very memories that will help push the pain away and bring back the smiles. Stay strong. Thinking of you. Love, Kim Vetter

Marlene, Laura and Dena: Anytime I ever spoke about my family to people I always talked about how much I admired my cousin Sal. He was one of a kind. Generous to a fault, loving, devoted, and just a nice guy. The legacy he leaves behind, just in being himself, is one to be treasured. The world is a slightly colder place without him. Love you all!

Sal was one of the greatest people I have ever known. I will miss him for his wit and wisdom. I will miss him for his love of life. His love for his "lovely Marlena" and for Dena and Laura has been a lesson for all of us when learning how to prioritize those things that are important in life. We should all be so lucky to love the way he did and to be loved the way he was. Rest in peace good friend.
