Joan your bright and cheerful smile will be missed. Your chuckles always brightened my life as we grew together. So many shared experiences being the very best friends from when we were 2 till HS. May you be at peace in the garden of heaven, a forever valentine of the Lord, and flower of sunshine to the world.
To Scott and family I offer my condolences. Your grief in loss will never leave but Joan's memory and love will remain in your hearts. To Debbie, Ann and Linda..so sorry you have lost a piece of your world. I thank you for your family, and for all your kindness. I know Joan loves you all.
God Bless you Mr. Flower you remain in my prayers.

To all the family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. Joan was such a wonderful person. I remember when we were just little girls and would play together. We shared time in Bayville and later in New Jersey. Losing her is such a big loss. She will stay fondly in my memories forever.
Sincerely,
Linette

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Joan. We went to church at Aldersgate United Methodist in East Brunswick. Many fond memories of our youth group at church and her mom and dad. They were chaperones on our many retreats to Wildwood. So grateful to FB for reconnecting us. I moved away in my senior year of HS and lost touch with so many. So glad to have reconnected with Joan. I will miss her witty posts. The view from her toes will be missed. She is a beautiful woman and had the sweetest spirit.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you grieve her loss. I know how hard it will be for all of you. There are no words to fill the void. But, the wonderful memories will get sweeter as the days go by and her legacy will live on forever. What a blessing to know she in the arms of our savior, free from sickness and pain.
Thinking of you all,
Donna Pirkle Daniels

Scott, Thomas, and Emily,
My heart is broken for all of you at this time, please know what a wonderful life Joan had and will have with our Heavenly Father. I am glad to say that I got to know Joan as a friend and will miss her humor and honesty. Mostly I will miss her “Between my toes” moments.... May her memories live on forever and may her spirit be with you always. You fought a good fight Joan but your body was tired now get all the rest you need and enjoy your afterlife.

Scott, Thomas, and Emily,
I was very sorry indeed to hear of Joan's passing and wish to extend my deepest sympathies. She came from a lovely family and they were an immediate and seamless addition to our own. Whenever I saw Joan I enjoyed talking to her about developments on Long Island, politics, and life. She was a very intelligent and amusing person and good company. All I can say is that I am truly very sorry for your loss and that I will miss her very much too.
your cousin,
Jason Bruder
