Dear sister of Ed Eaton,the late Tom, Jim, Mimi and Jack. Proud grandmother of Ron Meghan (Chris), Kristin, Rebecca, Dylan, Caitlyn, Magnus, Erik and Colin. Our grandmother was an exceptional woman. She was brave, spirited, and full of sage advice that helped shape the lives of everyone she knew. Her unwavering devotion to her family, which she expressed with kindness, strength and a touch of Irish wit, could lift even the lowest of spirits. Grandma Peg taught her children, grandchildren and everyone else who had the pleasure of knowing her how to live a meaningful life; a life full of gratitude for all our blessings. Whenever I expressed grief about loss, Grandma Peg would share an old Irish adage: "Don't cry because its over, smile because it happened."
