Born in 1932 in a small town in the northern side of the island of Puerto Rico, the 4th child of Pazcual Gonzalez & Rizquilda Guzman. He came to the United State at the young age of 17, served in the US Army between the years of 1950-1953, and fought over sea’s in the Korean War. He then made his home in Glen Cove, Long Island back in the early 50’s. He spent most of his adult life in this seaside city which he called home. Survived by two daughters, Zaida Gonzalez & Evelyn Anspake. Five Grandchildren; Francis Nieves, Francheska Nieves, Rosemarie Anspake, Jonathan Anspake & Lisa Anspake. & Two greatgrandchildren, Zayra Nieves & Amir Nieves. He loved knowledge and believed that hard work would get you ahead in life, he was selfless in material belongings. He understood that money never made anyone happy. His most valued possession was his family. Domingo was a loving son, brother, uncle, father, grandfather, and faithful friend, who knew the value of family and took care of the people he loved. He was the tower of strength that kept our family together, he was a loyal friend to those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be remember and loved always by his family & friends.
