It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Maruca, a lifelong resident of Glen Cove, New York, on July 29, 2026, at the age of 84.

Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband Natale “Babe” Maruca, her parents, Angie and Phil, and her cherished sister Nancy. She is lovingly survived by her children: Natalie (Brett), Maria (Anthony), Denise, Freddy, and Little Freddy (Kory), and her cherished grandchildren: Brittney, Rebecca, Samantha (Michael), and John. She is also survived by her great-nieces Paige and Casey, great-nephew Dylan, as well as, extended family, and lifelong friends.

Mary worked at Glen Cove High School for many years and was known and loved throughout the community. She will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Church of Glen Cove on Saturday, August 1st, 2026 at 10am. Interment to follow at Locust Valley Cemetery.
