VALENTINE, Robert L. "General" ~ lifelong resident of Bayville, NY June 6, 2026 at Age 96.  Beloved husband of the late Bettina.  Loving father of Judith, Patricia Madden (Warren), Scott (Carol), Todd (Anne), Robb (Kenny) and the late Thomas.  Proud grandfather of Thomas and Emily (Macullen).  Dear brother of the late Charles.  Also survived by several loving nieces and nephews and extended family members.  Mr. Valentine was a member of the Bayville Fire Department for over 75 years.  He was a longtime member of Comanche Raiders Family Marching Band and was a passionate iceboater.

Visitation at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home, Glen Cove on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 from 1-4pm.  Firematic Service TBA.  Religious Service at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 10am.  Interment to follow at Bayville Cemetery.
