George William Biscoe, age 93 of Glen Cove NY, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.  He was born in New York City on November 22, 1932 but grew up in Terryville CT.  He was the son of Nicholas and Anna Biscoe.

George earned a BS from Union College in 1954 and an MS in Applied Science from Adelphi College in 1961.  He served as a US Airforce Communications Officer in Germany from 1954 through 1956 and continued to serve in the Airforce Reserves until 1971 retiring with the rank of Captain.

George is best known for his time at Grumman Aerospace where he worked on the electronic countermeasures avionic systems for the F-14 fighter.  He retired in 1995 after 28 years at the company.

After retirement, George embarked on a new career of “world traveler” visiting over 2 dozen countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America.  He loved to garden and many of his friends and neighbors enjoyed bushels of tomatoes, hot peppers and blueberries over the years.

George is survived by his children David Biscoe, Denise (Richard) Eng and grandson Jeffrey Eng. Preceding him in death were his loving wife Teresa (2005) and brother Edward (2015).

Visiting at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home of Glen Cove on Sunday, May 31st from 4-8pm. Funeral Mass at the Church of St. Rocco on Monday, June 1st at 10am. interment at St. John's Cemetery in Terryville, CT on Tuesday, June 2nd.  Donations may be to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Click Here
