It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Martha Theresa O'Leary of Glen Cove, New York (formerly New Milford, New Jersey), who left this world on May 9th, 2026, at the age of 89. Martha was a beloved presence in the lives of all who knew her, and her memory will be carried forward with love and gratitude.

Martha is survived by her children and their spouses: Daniel F. O'Leary Jr., Erin K. Flynn and her husband Rich, and Colleen B. Sotiryadis and her husband Adam; and her grandchildren, Mary, Grace, Richard, and Danny. She was also deeply cherished by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel F. O'Leary.

Martha, whose "favorite people call her 'Nana,'" was a true woman of faith. She lived for her family; becoming a mother and grandmother was her calling. She will be remembered for her larger-than-life presence, her quick-witted sense of humor, her warmth, and especially her love of ice cream. Martha was a great storyteller and an even better dancer. If heaven wasn't already a party, it certainly is now that she's there.
