Dear friends and family,

We are saddened to share the news of the passing of Orpilla (Abe) Bernabe of Methuen, MA, who left us on April 15, 2026. Abe was a cherished and charitable individual devoted to his loved ones.  He is survived by his lifelong partner, Tom Paolillo and four siblings.  Abe’s  legacy continues through his  extended family of twenty-one nieces and nephews, and twenty-nine grand nieces and nephews, all of whom benefited from the many memories they created in their time together.  Throughout his life, Abe was deeply committed to his family and friends.  His authentic, caring  dedication to those around him will be fondly remembered.  As we honor Abe’s memory, we reflect on the quiet and humble impact he had on each of us and hold his spirit close in our hearts.

Visitation at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home, Glen Cove on Sunday, April 19, 2026 from 4-8pm.  Mass at St. Hyacinth RC Church on Monday, April 20, 2026 at 11:00am.  Interment is private.
