Joseph Cusimano, a lifelong resident of Glen Cove, New York, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Glen Cove, Joseph remained proud of his hometown and the community he called home throughout his life.
Joseph honorably served his country after being drafted into the United States Army during the Korean War.
He was the devoted husband of his beloved wife, Amyjean, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and cherished memories. A dedicated family man, Joseph was a proud father to Amymarie (Eddie), Frank (Lori), and Jennifer (Bob).
Joseph was known for his lively spirit, his love of dancing, and his fondness for pastries — simple joys he happily shared with family and friends. He found his greatest happiness surrounded by those he loved.
He was a loving grandfather to Christopher, Joe Booth, Bobby, Joey, Kiera, Baby Joe, and Ryann, and a proud great-grandfather to Hollen, Augie, Josie, and Wyatt.
Joseph is survived by his loving sister, Carol, and was predeceased by his sisters, Tina and Jesse. He was deeply devoted to his many nieces and nephews, who held a special place in his heart.
Joseph will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
