SCHICHTEL, Jeanette L. nee Matthews of Glen Cove, NY on January 4, 2026 at Age 76. Beloved wife of the late David. Loving mother of Robert (Maricel). Dear sister of James Matthews (Pat). Proud grandmother of Maria Perena and Connor Schichtel.
Jeanette was an Elementary School Substitute Teacher at All Saints Catholic School. She was a Eucharist Minister. Jeanette and her husband David ran the blood drive at St. Patrick Catholic Church for 15 years. She was also a kidney recipient for 43 years.
Visitation at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home, Glen Cove on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 from 4-8pm. Mass at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 10:00am. Interment is Private.
