Obituary of Eric S. Grant

The late Eric Scott Grant Sr. aka “ E’Not” was born on April 29, 1966 to William and Evelyn Grant (predeceased). On December 19, 2025 God had called Eric home. 

Eric grew up in Glen Cove, New York, where he attended the Glen Cove School District. He studied and he played sports: football and basketball. He graduated from Glen Cove High School in June of 1984. When it came to sports he was a true New Yorker his favorite teams were the NY Giants and the NY Knicks. 

He moved from Glen Cove to Monticello, NY where he worked as a home health care assistant. He returned to Glen Cove in 2015 to be closer to his sister to help assist with the caring of his mother. After relocating, Eric opened his own business called E.S.G Home Care.

Eric leaves three children: Deon Colfield, Aryales Grant and Eric Grant Jr. Twin granddaughters: Kehlani and Layla. Three siblings: Jeffrey Grant, Sharon Grant and Micheal Grant. Four Aunts: Gloria Robinson, Bernice Hudson, Barbara Williams and Jean York. Nephew’s, niece’s, cousins, extended family, and friends.
