Obituary of Rose Ann Fresiello
Rose Ann Fresiello, loving sister, aunt, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025. Rose Ann was born on April 18, 1937, in Glen Cove, New York, where she was also raised and spent her entire life rooted in family and faith. One of twelve children born to John and Anna Sebastiano, she loved to recount stories of her amazing childhood full of fun and love. She shared an exceptionally close bond with her siblings and treasured the large, loving family they built together. Family gatherings, laughter and togetherness meant everything to her.
She attended Glen Cove High School where she graduated in 1954. It was there where she acquired the nickname “Sharpie” for knowing how to put together an outfit! She was a devoted, lifelong member of St. Patrick’s Parish in Glen Cove. A woman of deep faith, she lived her beliefs quietly and faithfully, guiding her family by example with kindness, humility, and love.
She married Anthony Fresiello in 1958 and they shared two daughters, Carol Ann (Solferino) and Deborah (Kendric). She was mother-in-law to Tom and Chris. She was cherished by her five grandchildren, Sydney Solferino, Sarah Kendric, Elizabeth Solferino, Louis Solferino and Anthony Kendric, all of whom were the great joy of her life.
She was known for her love of baking, often sharing homemade treats that brought comfort and joy to everyone around her. Her kitchen was a place of warmth, generosity, and connection. She never met a sweet or chocolate that she didn’t like!
Her gentle spirit, strong faith, and generous heart will live on in all who knew and loved her.
