Obituary of Diane LaRue Molesky
Diane LaRue (Survilla) Molesky passed away on December 17, 2025 not far from where she raised her family in Glen Cove, New York. Even though she was taken from us too soon at 78 years old, her tremendous spirit will carry on.
Diane was born in Elmont and raised in Glenwood Landing. She had 3 brothers and a sister (LaRue Covino) with whom she was very close. She has always had a passion for spending time with family and friends, dancing and being a strong presence in her community. She met the love of her life, Thomas, at the age of 18. Married for 53 years, she was predeceased by Thomas in 2020. She is survived by her children, Thomas (Monique), Lori (Jeffrey), Dana (Robert), Joshua (Theresa) and Diane (Christopher) and eight grandchildren: Lily, Grant, Jack, Rowan, Ava, Peyton, Macklin and Claire.
Diane lived with courage and grace, carrying her strength with her throughout life and to the end. A Celebration of Life will be held on January 10, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Glen Cove, New York.
