Obituary of Elizabeth T. Doxey

DOXEY, Elizabeth T. "Betty" of Glen Cove on the 10th of October 2025 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Louis P. Sr. Loving Mother of Pamela Ann Tashman (late Stewart), Tina Marie McCauley (Wally), Bridget E. Perillo (Frank) and the late Louis P. Jr. Proud Grandmother of Brittany, Frankie Jr., and Katelyn Holzkamp. Great grandmother of Layla, Jace, and Aria. Dear Sister of Josephine LaCorte Hughes, the late Anthony LaCorte, and the late Rosemarie LaCorte Doxey and  Dear sister and sister-in-law of Rosemarie LaCorte Doxey & Doris Doxey.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Betty was a rosarian at the parishes of St. Rocco's and St. Patrick's. She was a school aide in both Glen Cove and St. Patrick's working with kids who had disabilities. Betty enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and was an avid bowler. A mom to all.

Visitation at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home of Glen Cove on Thursday 16th, October 2025 from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. Mass at the Church of St. Rocco on Friday, October 17th at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
