Obituary of Luis Roberto Espinoza

Luis Roberto Espinoza, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was 78 years old.

Born on May 13, 1947, in Ica, Peru, Luis later made his home in New York, where he built a life defined by hard work, resilience, and devotion to family.

He will be remembered as hardworking and strong-willed. Luis especially enjoyed cooking traditional Peruvian dishes, bringing loved ones together over meals filled with warmth, laughter, and storytelling.

He is survived by his wife, Ana Maria; his children, Luis Enrique, Carlos, and Rocio; and five cherished grandchildren: Rachael, Gabriella, Joel Jordan, Eliana, and Lorenzo. His legacy of strength and perseverance will continue through them.

Services include Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home in Glen Cove, a Funeral Mass at St. Patrick’s Church, and burial at East Hillside Cemetery.
